Politicians created a mess in Sithalapakkam. Right from early morning, their radios and mic set blasted remixed cinema songs praising Karunanidhi and Jayalalita. Yesterday it was DMK’s turn, today it is ADMK’s turn. They spend so much money on hoisting flags on the way, use electricity that must be distributed to public. Over here in home I don’t get good power supply!
I wonder why these people want win voters by this fake publicity. It like actors and actress gaining popularity. They do nothing good, but they become popular just because they act good. As long there are fools this world will be a foolers paradise.
Another problem is politicians think voters can be bribed (in truth it could work). It is said that assistant leader J.Rajendran of DMK in Sithalapakkam has told Christian community that if DMK wins the election, he would build them a half completed church. So lets see how it works.
However I do hear that people are bit fedup with DMK here, not all promises have been full-filled. Development means there must be good roads, library, government school, good water supply. Instead all Sithalapakkam has seen is a new Wine Shop. Is this what development is?
This form of democracy which is followed in India is totally flawed. I think switching to Dynamic Democracy could be a solution. But in a country populated by scoundrel politicians and public, I doubt would weather this could ever happen.
