Panimalar – What a lie!

I just checked out my college website http://www.panimalar.ac.in/campus-life.htm and found the following paragraph

The campus life at Panimalar is wholesome, easy and fun filled. It provides the students a judicious mix of education and enjoyment. The Panimalar campus offers to both the day scholars and residents a complete suite of facilities that are very self sufficient. Thus the student has absolutely no need to step out of the college premises for anything. It goes that extra mile to make the life of students staying at hostels that much more comfortable and pleasant, thereby making it a second home.

So let me disect it

The campus life at Panimalar is wholesome, easy and fun filled. It provides the students a judicious mix of education and enjoyment.

OK, a fun filed campus! To be honest how long have I spent life on the campus, 1/20th of my whole panimalar life? I was put inside a dam class room, some classes were interesting, others though were boring. I didn’t listen to the boring lectures, I skipped it and read on my own. Skipped I mean I mentally skipped it. Physically, the laws of Panimalar glued me to my place. I have to sit there, 8 hours a day!

Panimalr provides us poisonous mix of education (too much of lecture is good for nothing).  Well enjoyment, we did have it, but it wasn’t panimalar provided, we were a cool lot, especiallyme and Chan in the last bench, we never stopped cracking jokes.

OK the next claim

The Panimalar campus offers to both the day scholars and residents a complete suite of facilities that are very self sufficient.

Self sufficient? If I broke a transistor in lab, the dull faced lab assiatant would look down upon me as though  am a politicians who looted 100’s of crores from the treasury. In someaspects the college ran like a miser. When it comes to puting a scence and show-offs the college was very self sufficient.

Well take a look at the kind of chief guests who came to out college

1. Actor Prashanth – He is ok, a good educated guy. But wy on earth he stepped into our college? We are engineers dam it!
2. Side actress Gayathri Jayaram – Well I wonder weather she has passed 10th. She comes to our college and says she want to become a doctor (not the PHD, the one who cures illness) and wises to get her doctor degree from Panimalr Engineering! Well they say ‘nothing is impossible’ but this one?
3. Madhavan – Worthless
4. Director Cheran- Worthful , but not enough

In short none had any stuff they could share with engineering aspirants.

Well let me stopmy blog here due to time constrains. All I’ve got to say to any 1 is think b4 u leap. I would be happ to study in Panimalar if they could offer me a degree for Rs 5000/- per year. All other is just a show and worthless in true technical perspective.
