Tata motors helpline sucks

18 Nov 2014, I was going to office when I felt strange in my car (a tata nano), I was near Velacherry and I turned my car to return home, I was around Medavakkam and my vehicle ceased completely at the junction in midst of super heavy traffic. With the help of a policeman and a passer by I pushed my vehicle to the end of the road. Just a week before it my vehicle went completely dark and I changed battery.

I searched my contacts and got a Tata motors help line, I called it. The voice said that they are transferring the call to emergency break down team, and it rang and rang and rang. Then some one picked it up and answered in Hindi. i requested them to speak either Tamil or English and he did something then I head the ringing stuff once again and none piked it up.

I called the second time and this time they said they will transfer the call to break down team and it rang and rang and rang, none from the break down team responded. The third time I called, it must have been half an hour since my car had broken down, the sun was beating, every vehicle in the Medavakkam junction was missing my vehicle by few feet, I had to be there, I could not move from that spot.

The third time I asked them to give some mechanic number, but they said they knew no mechanic number in Chennai!!!! Which just surprised me. I told them clearly that they are hopeless and for everything they said “we are sorry for your inconvenience” , rather than being in a helpline those people could have made their living well as politicians or their binaamis. No matter how much I tell them that their break down response team is waste, they would transfer a call to that stupid thing and none would pick it up.

My uncle arrived on spot an we decided that to goto the nearest service center OMR check point in Perungudi. We went there only to find out that its been vacated somewhere and Vestas now occupied it. Then I received a call and this time it was from Tata motors helpline, I told them that I will see a local mechanic and they are waste, but even that girl would transfer call to the emergency break down or what ever, and once again I heard the ringing sound, it went for another 1 minute, I was fed up and cut the call.

Thank fully my uncle remembered a TAFE Reach (another service company) number, we called them and they arranged a pick up truck which charged us Rs 2500/- to toe the vehicle.

Well, why am I writing this, just one week of the repair, my car A/C stopped working and when I am frustrated about Tata motors again some guy put a comment positive about Tata Motors in my Tata motors is unreliable blog. šŸ˜¦ . It would be nice if he can take upon my travel expenses when my car is in repair. I have to live without my car for another 4 days I think.

Great I.T company in Chennai

I have tried regular job and I have been a consultant, had my own firms and blah blah. I find one thing common in I.T industry today. employees are simply treated as slaves. They must be worked out so that every praise from the client can be extracted showing off their work. This trend is prevalent in big I.T majors HCL, TCS, CTS, Wipro, Infosys and blah blah.

Many souls have been irrecoverably broken. On one side there is a mental torture from your company. On the other there is a torture from your family, which fails to understand you and forces you to stick with these slave trading majors.

Its not just these big majors,I have had problem with small companies too. In one company called Orxxxin xexxning, where I worked as tech specialist, I was invited into room one day and was said that I never worked for a month. I really walked into the cabin for a constructive meeting, then I was slapped with this ridiculous charges. This made me sleepless for two days and I quit. I am quiet sure if something like God exist, they will spit blood and die. More worst one of my friends called me after I quit and said that they said he did not perform for last one year. He was almost in tears.

In another company that supplies learning products called Exxerxus rightly located in Kilpauk (famous for its mental institute), I encountered a pure psycho. Though the company is not to be blamed, I wonder why they did not reign in on that psycho who would just yell on me for no reason. No wonder souls working under him were miserable. But there I also notice another guy called Suresh who was a excellent peoples man. If its not for him, the team would have disintegrated.

There is a middle and/or top layer in many companies which simply doesn’t work, which simply doesn’t know what technology is, yet its slightly smart enough to realize that it can fill its pockets with money earned by offering tech products and services and those people turn out to be those ghosts spoiling lifes of the people who work there.

What can middle class do? We live month by month. Just one month of no salary and have to make huge adjustments. I gave up. Just gave up in and thought that the team I had under my company was the luckiest. That gave me a little satisfaction. Thankfully people who worked under me reflect to the days under me as bliss. Its the greatest thing I have done in my life. I am very proud and happy about it.

But then. To my joy there is a company which does care for its employees, I just stumbled upon it. Its called Beyond Universe and its sister Inexgames. I teach Ruby on Rails there and know its employees personally. I have met its boss and and he seems to have “don’t push the employee” philosophy. All I have interacted are happy with that company. and I am so happy to be associated with it. Even its peon is happy. I have seen that no where. Not even in the firm I had.

Its boss Mr. Swamy seems to be a great listener. I only hope his philosophy spreads and every boss out there and makes them get a good heart like him. I am so happy to see a pocket among this city of slaves where people explore technology and strive to do things in the way they like.

If you are brilliant mind, try working there. don’t worry about money. You will become some one great. I hope that company stays blowing life into people forever.

Start screening Nigerians

Nigerians in India have got a bad name, just because a small percentage of them have done very wrong things like selling drugs, phishing, other fraud activities an so on. To kill any one in this land unlawfully is not acceptable. India belongs to humanity and not to a bunch of people who call them Indians. We need to be clear about it.

First Indus civilization flourished, after the arrival of Aryans, the Nandas, Guptas and Ashoka reigned this land. In the south Rajaraja became an Asian emperor extending his kingdom in Malaysia and Srilanka. This land has seen many Golden periods and more famines and nearly has a 10,000 years history.

Then Mugals came into India, because of which people like me enjoy briyani a lot. Then the British. Though India preserved Mugals legacy and muslims in its land, it failed the preserve Anglo Indians who are just wiped out. In short reproduce like rats and your community will thrive in India. In fact no piece of land belongs to none on this planet or any where in this universe.

India should be welcoming to any one who wishes that he can make this land more prosperous. Now to protect the good Nigerians here we have no other choice but to screen all their nationals who are here. Identify the crooks and chuck them out.

If this is not done, then there will be a tension all the time and there will be communal classes often which is totally stupid and unnecessary.

Read Engineering From Internet – TN Govt

So finally! The government of Tamilnadu, India has acknowledged (indirectly) that Engineering colleges in the state are absolutely waste. This acknowledgement comes after 20 years and many lakhs of students life’s being spoiled by engineering colleges.

I am an I.T consultant based in Chennai, capital of Tamilnadu, I studied my engineering here in Tamilnadu and I came out of college almost skill less. After my graduation I built my programming skills and now I make my living managing many coding projects.

Now I interview many people across India for various companies and for my project, but after 10 years since I finished engineering college I find standards getting more worst. People who have finished Electrical Engineering don’t know what an relay is, people who finish Electronics Engineering don’t know ehow an diode works, Communication Engineers don’t know why we now go in for digital transmission of data rather than pure analog. Computer science engineer can’t explain what BNF or a tuple is or how a piece of code is more efficient than other. Sometimes I feel like burst out laughing, but control i with great difficulty.

College has simply become a social institution. You meet people digitally on facebook or Diaspora or Twitter, and you meet them Away from keyboard (AFK) in college. Thats it. Students and staff come to college just for social aspect. Or mostly because the college management forces them to attend against their will.

Almost no Engineering or Technical college in Tamilnadu has got a useful patent, put out papers on scientific discoveries, even the professors and doctorate holders get their degrees in imperfect way. Students for their final year projects go to some companies which sell them ready made project kits, buy them and submit it to the college and get their professors approval. Professors have tieup with companies which sells these kits. Even my project 10 years ago was completed in the same fashion.

Teaching is really bad. Almost no staff knows what they teach, they just read out from books and copy math problems onto the board. Library in many colleges are locked or don’t lend books. Some colleges don’t let one to take books off from library that are not related to their subjects. Many colleges don’t have a proper computer, electronics, chemistry or any other lab. Even if they do, mostly its for display to parents (to convince to put their kids in) and goverment officials who come in for inspection.

Students are made to sit for lectures for eight hours a day. Students simply can’t opt in and opt out of these classes thought mostly by idiots. Boys and girls in many colleges are forbidden to speak to each other and students are forbidden to roam campus except for few allotted hours! For example to know about my college panimalar, visit this link https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:A.K.Karthikeyan/Panimalar_Engineering_College&oldid=238959425

Now looks like the government has taken note of all these and has told students to follow coursewares created by MIT, edX, IIT and other institutions. There is no other way… But if the colleges lock in students and don’t grant them freedom, like free wifi and ability to use tablets and computers on campus this initiative will fail. I am confident that this will fail 100% unless student freedom is restored.

Reliance Harrasment Continues

Reliance logo
Long long ago, I got a Reliance Internet dongle. I need toĀ  go on trips so I needed Internet for my laptop. So I used it and then I called Reliance call center to terminate it. To my surprise the operator over there told that it cannot be terminated and if I don’t want the connection I must give it to my friend or some one known to me. When I disputed that I can force that bloody Internet dongle on any one, they failed to respond properly.

I did paid the bill till I used and thought that was it. Then one day I got a call from this number +91 7503528785 (and the called rpeated today too) today. They said that a court case is pending in Delhi high court. I was not surprised as I got a call like this before. The poor harassing telecaller girl does not even know how to serve a court notice or what steps must be taken if the notice was served and I did not respond to it.

The fact is this. Reliance has built a poochandi harassing network. That will pick up people who haven’t paid bills or those who they have billed wrongly. They then give this people a mental shock in a hope that they wwill pay the bill. This is mot the first time things are happening to me like this because of Reliance.

This reliance is a company that has no good culture. Take for instance Tata, there is almost no black mark on them, but there are thousands of gossip against reliance on how they have used bribes and influence.

I target this blog on reliance customers. If you are sing Reliance product, please stop using it. Pledge that you will not buy product from a company that will use rowdyism (that too for a mistake it has committed). I also ask Reliance stock holders to sell its stock and to buy stocks of some good company. These stocks may now good dividend now, but on the long run evil will face destruction.

Why Tambaram East Railway Station is Badly Lit?

I just left the train at Tambaram railway station and went to its East end, it was at night and my God. Just after I had stepped off the bridge, the place was gloom dark and I could not see people who were walking before and against me clearly. The place is bloody badly lit.

In the morning I was there to board a train and hence the place was registered in my mind. I know a place where it steps down, so I proceeded with caution, just a second after I cleared that place I heard a sound “oops” from some one who had almost fell down. There are short poles placed in close proximity at its entrance to prevent vehicle entry. These poles do not have smooth ends, they are three feet tall and made of iron, and in it I saw one banging his knee at night.Ā  That guy was a old man and he had to tend his aching leg to proceed further.

I wonder what the heck is going on? Just because people in railways , possibly the ministers and blah blah want to have a big house, go to trips abroad, have kilograms of gold even on the concubines and make sure that their successive generations must live in material filled rich world, they are ignoring the masses. Making some one stumble down a step, injuring an old mans knee.

This is just the one place I saw. Who knows in which railway stations what stupid things happen because of stupid politicians and administrators who are disconnected from people. I wish they die with extreme pain. Their children one day become beggars and compete with stray dogs for food in the dustbin.

Rajnath must work to remove Sanskrit from Tamilian Temples

I kinda agree with Rajnath Singh (BJP leader) when he said English is a non-sense and it has ruined Sanskrit, an language spoken in ancient India. Yes Sanskrit is an Indian identity (or is it) and we have lost it. But Mr,. Rajnath why don’t you give out a statement that in temples across Tamilnadu where the mantram is told in Sanskrit, it must be replaced by Tamil (the language of the Tamils). in which way English is superior to Sanskrit and in which way Sanskrit is superior to Tamil?

This bloody Sanskrit guys and people who speak for it simply ignore the damages that bloody language has done to beautiful Tamil. Hindi which is an ugly language derived from Sanskrit is our national language just because most people speak it. Then if India goes by numbers crow but not the peacock should be national bird, rats not tiger should be our national animal.

Our Tamilian demands are simple. Our language which has the origins since Indus valley is the oldest language spoken in the Indus valley civilization and was here far ahead of Sanskrit. So Tamil is the true national language of India. Then why don;’t Tamil people get access to their God in their own language? Is it not a sin by Sanskrit people? Why should such a language and people who love it survive?

So Mr. Rajnath, you know which is the true national identity of India. So what you want? Vote bank politics so that you get the vote of Sanskrit and its derived language Hindi voters? Or truth politics where you can fight for Tamil and possibly loose your battle? Decide for yourself.
